I’ve been covering technology, startups, and everything in between for print and online media since 2007 and I’m happy to talk about the writing you need to be done. Journalistic commissions, profiles, company website copy, guest columns, reviews, and whatever else you have in mind — everything is possible as long as it’s in English and doesn’t create a conflict of interest. Check out my portfolio and get in contact!
Have you written something that needs an extra pair of eyes to make it perfect? I can certainly help you out. Send the piece my way and let’s work on it together. For the finishing touch, I’m working with professional proofreaders to make sure all the commas are in the right places.
I regularly appear on stage at various European conferences as a speaker, moderator, or stage host. Book me for your event to talk about the media, entrepreneurship, technology, and anything else you think I know something about. Also, check out a few conference videos:
I’m Andrii Degeler, a tech journalist born in Ukraine and currently living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Since 2007, I’ve been covering all things technology for online and offline publications both in Ukraine and internationally. Currently, I work as a tech journalist at Tech.eu, the premier source of European technology news, data analysis, and market intelligence.
On the side, I’m interested in the topics of editorial structures, media monetization, and the future of journalism as a whole. The main product of my studies at the University of Groningen (2011–2013) is a Master’s thesis called “Market Development Through Digitization: Newsroom Structures and Editorial Practices In Converged Online Media—Cases of The Next Web, The Verge, and Engadget.” It’s based on a series of interviews with editors of well-known tech media. If you’re interested in what’s happening in the newsrooms of some of the best tech publications, give it a read.
Apart from my work and studies, I’m an ultimate frisbee player, cyclist, boardgames hoarder, and civil aviation enthusiast. Check out my personal website to learn more.
